Suddenly, the dolphin winks at you. You freak out. Turning your back on the dolphin and running, or should you say, power-floating, to the ledge, you scream, "A dolphin just winked! At me! Why? How? Is that even possible?" You turn back towards the creature to see if it has gone away and find that it has been quietly following you. It was following close behind you too. It's face is disturbingly close to yours and your noses touch. It feels rubbery. You muster up courage, and . . . slap the dolphin hard across the cheek. It squeals as it swims away. You pat yourself on the back for running and slapping successfully under water. You go back to the coral bed, proud that you were able to scare off the dolphin. Maybe tomorrow you'll do some more successful dolphin slappings. Who knows? Maybe you'll slap a jellyfish too? You imagine it will be fun, soft, and spongy.
